Donation to Student Activities

Thanks to the generosity of our families and community through PTO fundraising and donations the PTO was able to donate $7000 to TEMS students activities account. All money raised goes directly to benefit students by subsidizing field trips, assisting students in need, and funding student-run programs and initiatives.

The PTO and school administration are grateful for your continued support, which helps all students participate, connect, and thrive.

8th Grade Yard Signs

Dear Grade 8 Parents,

What better way to celebrate our students’ upcoming milestone than with a stylish bulldog yard sign?.  This year’s custom design is sure to bring adulation to their accomplishments. We have a very limited number of signs for purchase this year, don’t get left out of the hullabaloo and reserve and purchase your yard sign today!

A Note from the Nurse

Friendly reminders:

For any medication (daily, inhalers, epi pens, as needed, etc..) you brought in for your student this year, medication pickup will be June 9 through June 12. Any medications remaining after June 12th will be disposed of as per school district policy. Please set an alarm or reminder in your phone to come get your student’s meds.

Parents of 7th graders in the fall of 2026:

PA school health law requires that all students MUST have the following vaccinations PRIOR to the first day of 7th grade or risk exclusion:

  • 1 dose of tetanus, diphtheria, acellular pertussis (Tdap)
  • 1 dose of meningococcal conjugate vaccine (MCV)

If your student has NOT had these vaccinations but is not due for a well visit over the summer, please call your health care providers office ASAP & request a nurse visit specifically for immunizations. These appointments are typically quicker to schedule & are often at no added cost to you. Other options to obtain these vaccinations include the Chester County Health Department Immunization Clinic, many area Urgent Care locations, or clinics within pharmacies. Please call ahead to make sure the needed vaccine serum is available prior to going.

Additionally, a dental examination is also state required for 7th grade. Dental examinations must be done within one year. Forms to be completed by your family dentist can be found on the TESD website under Student Health Services then loaded into the Power School parent portal under forms. Please see information below about the Children's Dental Clinic should you need a provider.

Parents of 6th graders in the fall of 2026:

PA school health law states that children entering 6th grade must have a physical examination completed within one year & on file in the nurse’s office. Please make appointments ASAP. If your student is age 11 or older, please request that MCV & Tdap vaccinations be given at that appointment. Forms to be completed by your health care practitioner can be found on the TESD website under Student Health Services.

All health information for students should be loaded to Power School via the parent portal. Look for the heading “Forms” on the left-hand side.  If you are unable to load your report into Power School, it can be sent via email to coaryl@tesd.net. I will be checking my email throughout the summer.

Thank you for your help in getting all the required health information to the nurse in a timely fashion.

Thanks-

Leigh Ann

Volunteer Opportunities

The Easttown Township Environmental Advisory Council is seeking volunteers this summer for two fun and meaningful community projects that are perfect for families and students looking to give back. These quick opportunities take less than an hour and include monitoring pollinators in the new pollinator garden along Route 30 and checking on the Bluebird houses in Hilltop Park. Kids are encouraged to participate alongside an adult. Please sign up via the links below.
