We invite you to join us at our upcoming PTO meeting on November 21st at 9:30 AM! It’s a great opportunity to stay connected and involved with the school community. Just a heads-up—there won’t be a PTO meeting in December.

Fun Fact: Did you know that November is National Gratitude Month? Perfect timing as we approach the Thanksgiving break, which will run from November 27th to 29th.

We are calling all Bulldogs to gather your gently used middle school and young adult level books for the 2024 TEMS Book Swap. You can drop off your books in bins at the front and back entrances and students will have the opportunity to "shop" for books to take home and read. There is no cost! This is a great opportunity to clean out your bookshelves and find new books to read -- just in time for winter break!

Drop off dates: Monday, 11/18 - Tuesday, 12/10

Book Swap Browsing days: during lunch and activity December 11, 12, and 13.

We need volunteers to help sort the books on Tuesday, 12/10 and to supervise the Book Swap during lunch and activity periods on 12/11- 12/13. Help Name TESD’s New Elementary School!

The T/E School District is excited to announce a unique opportunity for our community to contribute to the legacy of our District by submitting name ideas for our new elementary school, located at 1200 W. Swedesford Road in Berwyn. Beginning November 8, 2024, and continuing through 5:00 pm on December 6, 2024, all members of the public, including students, parents, staff members, and residents, are invited to submit name suggestions through the TESD New Elementary School Name Submission Form. For additional information and criteria for name selection, please visit www.tesd.net/nameourschool.

Winter Sports

Winter sports (basketball and wrestling) at TEMS is beginning soon! Any student who played a fall sport should complete Sections 1 & 7 and any student who did not play a fall sport should complete Sections 1-6 & 10-11 to be eligible to tryout and participate. Athletics / Participation paperwork and injury information Please watch the morning announcements for the schedule of student interest meetings. 7^th and 8^th grade boys basketball tryouts will take place November 19, 20, and 21. 7^th and 8^th grade girls basketball tryouts will take place December 3, 4, and 5. Wrestling practice will begin December 3. Please contact Mrs. Sarvas at sarvasm@tesd.net if you have any questions.
