Nurses Note

PLEASE complete your student’s emergency card in the Power School Portal ASAP. This card contains vital information needed in case of an emergency, as well as permission to administer over-the-counter medications if needed. Health input cannot be provided for evaluations without a completed card. We currently have an unprecedented number of incomplete cards.

6th Grade: A physical exam dated within the past year is required by the PA School Health Code. Please submit this form through PowerSchool under Forms - Physical Exam, or email it to coaryl@tesd.net.

7th Grade:

  • Students must provide documentation of the MCV and Tdap vaccines before the first day of school to avoid exclusion, per state requirements. Submit these under Forms - Proof of Immunization on PowerSchool or email them to coaryl@tesd.net.
  • A dental exam within the past year is also required. Upload this to PowerSchool under Dental Exam or email it to lallym@tesd.net.

Thank you for ensuring your student’s health records are up to date!

Egg Cartons and Newspapers needed

Art classes needs empty egg cartons and newspapers for upcoming art projects. If you have any to spare, please send them with your child or drop them off at the front office.

HELP NEEDED!

We're looking for volunteers to help organize a fun social event this spring aimed at building community and raising funds for our student’s. Whether you can contribute in a small way or with a bigger time commitment, your help will be greatly appreciated! If you're interested in being a part of this exciting project, please reach out to Doris(doris.jhunjhunwala@gmail.com) and/or Kate(wangkath@yahoo.com).

Let’s make a positive impact together!

Halloween Costume Guidelines

Students may choose whether or not to wear a costume to school on October 31st. If your student decides to wear a costume, it must follow these guidelines:

  1. No weapons or imitation weapons.
  2. No face paint that makes a student unrecognizable.
  3. No costume helmets or masks that cannot quickly and easily be removed.  We need to be able to identify all students.
  4. All costumes should be appropriate for all students in our building, grades 5 – 8. They should not be gory, too frightening, revealing, inappropriate, controversial, offensive, or disparaging to any individual or group.
