We invite you to join us for the last PTO meeting of the year 2023-2024, scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 16th. Please check in at the main office upon arrival. 

The TEMS PTO Nominating Committee has approved the following slate of candidates to serve in the open Executive Officer positions on the TEMS PTO for the 2024-25 school year: 

  • Executive Vice President: Ashley Force Mellor
  • Secretary: Susan Chronister
  • Assistant Treasurer: Ted Kim 
  • VP Fundraising: Doris Jhunjhunwala and Kate Wang (co-VPs)
  • VP Cultural Arts: Janet Malin (co-VP with Sarabeth Krulock)

Write-in nominations of consenting candidates for any of the above roles may be submitted for the consideration of the PTO membership at the Annual Meeting. To submit a write-in candidate for consideration, please email Executive Vice President, Becky Ormsbee, at temspto@gmail.com by May 15th.  

All TEMS parents, guardians and staff are automatically members of the PTO and are invited to vote on the slate at this final PTO meeting of the school year (the Annual Meeting).

Celebrate your soon-to-be TEMS GRADUATE with a yard sign!

Purchase a yard sign to celebrate your eighth grader’s accomplishments and display it in your yard to support our grads!

Signs are $15 each, and all proceeds will go toward making the eighth-grade recognition ceremony a great experience for our graduates! Last chance to order your signs is today!

Photo Memory Wall!

As we approach the 8th Grade Recognition Ceremony, your help is needed to create a Photo Memory Wall for the kids in the school cafeteria.

The goal is to collect two pictures from all current 8th graders.  If you choose to participate, here is what is needed:

  • Please send in 1 baby picture and 1 current picture of your student by FRIDAY, May 24, 2024.  
  • Please submit a hard copy of each photo – 3”x5" in size. 

Note: Pictures may need to be cropped to fit the display.

Please write your student’s full name on the back of each picture.

All pictures are to be submitted to the school office in an envelope marked Attn: 8th Grade Memory Wall 

*If you would like your pictures back at the end of the school year, please remove them from the bulletin board in the cafeteria on the last day of school or you may come in the week of June 17th.

Please refer to the email sent exclusively to 8th-grade parents on Friday, May 3rd, for additional details and important dates pertaining to 8th graders. 


Stoga Wear

Are you interested in Conestoga Spirit Wear for your current 8th graders? Orders can be made online but picked up at 8th grade parent information session on 5/29!

Handel's TEMS Spirit Day

Join us at Handel's Ice Cream in Berwyn on Wednesday, May 22nd, for TEMS Spirit Day! Handel's will generously donate 20% of all sales from that day back to TEMS PTO for any customer who mentions the fundraiser or shows the attached image. 

The fundraiser will run all day, between 11am-9pm, but please join us that afternoon after school for some VIP special guests, including Dr. DiLella and a visit from the TEMS Bulldog mascot! Don't forget to mention you are from TEMS while you are checking out! 

Health Forms

We want to remind you to consider the following when scheduling your child’s well visit or dental checkup:

-For incoming grade 6: Physical exams within one year are required per PA School Health Code.

-For incoming grade 7: students MUST submit documentation of MCV or Tdap PRIOR to the first day of school or risk exclusion. This is per state requirements. 

-Additionally, students in 7th grade must have a dental exam within one year.
