Spring Flowers Fundraiser

Please support the TEMS PTO by purchasing spring flower bulbs that will blossom into beautiful flowers this summer!

Dutch Mills is a local nursery based near Hershey, PA, who offers flower bulbs shipped from Holland. They have an extensive variety of reasonably-priced flower bulbs which will arrive to your home in early April, and if planted this spring, will grow and bloom into beautiful flowers this summer!

The proceeds from this fundraiser will benefit the various efforts of the TEMS PTO. Please purchase anytime between now-March 15th. Thank you so much for your support!

Philadelphia Inquirer Spotlight

The Philadelphia Inquirer did a great spotlight on our very own Mrs. Flint and all of our artists participating in the Philadelphia Flower Show this year. It's available online here and will be published in this Sunday's paper!

We are pleased to announce that our students placed first in every category, and our very own 10th grader at Conestoga High School, Sarah Bernholdt, won Best of Show for the youth. This picture is of her masterpiece.

Note from nurses office!

Please ensure that your students are eating breakfast or grabbing a granola bar prior to coming to school. The number of kids coming in hungry to the nurse’s office has increased exponentially. Breakfast is available each day at no cost in the cafeteria for students. The nurse’s office is now accepting donations of barrels of pretzels and nut free animal crackers.

School store needs YOU!

We're looking for parents to staff the School Store! The School Store is open from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (during all the lunch periods) on Tuesdays and Thursdays. There will be two volunteers signed up for each day. The School Store is a great way to see your student(s) in action and support the school.

Background clearance is needed for volunteering for the school store. Here is a link on details regarding clearance (Volunteer Background Clearance).

If you have background clearance, please sign up using the link below.

Green Initiative

Each of us can make a difference by reducing, reusing, and recycling materials throughout our communities and encouraging our neighbors (and our kids) to do the same.

TEMS Recycling Program

Recycling drop-off is available at TEMS all year!  Bins are located in the main lobby upon entry to the school. We will continue to collect writing instruments (no wooden pencils or crayons please), clean plastic bags, printer cartridges and dental products (toothpaste tubes, toothbrushes, empty floss rolls) in the bins in the front lobby.  Click on this link for more details.

Brought to you by the TESD Green Team. To learn more or get involved, please contact: Tracy at tracyteeselink@aol.com, Val at valcheng@gmail.com or Gaby at gabysnyder@yahoo.com
