Picture retakes and 8th grade group photo

School picture retakes are on Tuesday Oct 24th

Any student that was absent or wants a retake photo can receive a photo. For retakes, students should bring in their original picture package and give it to the photographer. New student does not need the picture package and should still go for their photo, the photographer will handle the processing of that. The schedule of each grade is below and at those times, the student should check with their teacher and ask to go for their photo.

 Gr. 8- 8:45 ; Gr. 7- 9:15 ; Gr. 6- 9:45; Gr. 5- 10:15

An 8th grade group photo will be taken during 1st period.

Halloween Costume Guidelines

Halloween is just round the corner and student council is planning a costume day on Oct 31st. Students may choose to  wear a costume to school or wear orange/black or their regular attire on Halloween. If your student does choose to wear a costume, please keep in mind the following costume guidelines:

·       No weapons or imitation weapons.

·       No face paint that makes a student unrecognizable.

·       No costume helmets or masks that cannot quickly and easily be removed.  We need to be able to identify all the students.

·       All costumes should be appropriate for all students in our building, grades 5 – 8. Ensure that your costume does not include any offensive or explicit content.

·       Choose a costume that is comfortable and will not interfere with learning activities or pose a hazard in hallways and stairways.

·       Creativity is encouraged! Have fun expressing your Halloween spirit through imaginative and innovative costumes while respecting the guidelines mentioned above.

#HOPE4HOEY

Student council is supporting a fundraiser for a former TEMS student, Patrick Hoey who suffered a horrible injury this past summer and is paralyzed.  You may have heard of this- #HOPE4HOEY. Please try to help if you can!
