TEMS PTO Donates to TEMS Student Council

At their April meeting, Niki Salata, TEMS PTO President, presented a check to Dr. DiLella, TEMS Principal, on behalf of the TEMS PTO. This $5000 donation from the TEMS PTO to the TEMS Student Council will be used to offset the rising costs of the 2024 Hershey Trip for 8th grade students. This donation was made possible thanks to continued fundraising efforts by the TEMS PTO. We extend our gratitude to everyone who contributed in any way to help the PTO raise funds.

If you'd like to support the TEMS PTO, please consider a Direct Donation.  These funds are used to support PTO programming, including Cultural Arts, 8th Grade Recognition, and Teacher & Staff Appreciation.

PSSA Testing

Thank you to all TEMS families for a wonderful start to PSSA testing!

As a reminder for this upcoming week, Math testing will take place April 30-May 1, and Science testing (grade 8 only) will take place May 2-3.  Make-up testing sessions will be scheduled through May 10.  For more information regarding this year’s testing schedule and expectations, please refer to the communication emailed to all families from Sr. Carvajal in March.  Here is a link to that letter for your quick access. A link to that information can also be found on the TEMS website.

7th and 8th grade parents/guardians, please remind your student to bring their calculator if they have one. If they do not, then one will be provided for them.

5th and 6th Grade parents/guardians, calculators will be provided for your student.

Questions about PSSA testing may be directed to Sr. Carvajal at carvajalo@tesd.net or your child's school counselor.  Thanks to all for your support!!

5th and 6th grade Social Event

On Friday, May 3rd there will be a 5th and 6th grade Social Event.  It will run from 3:15-5:00 and will be held in the Large gyms and fields on the side of the school.

Tickets are $10 each and include one Free drink & snack and one Handles sandwich or popsicle. Ticket sales have started and are available before school by the large gym, and during 5/6 grade lunches.

School store needs YOU!

We're looking for parents to staff the School Store! The School Store is open from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (during all the lunch periods) on Tuesdays and Thursdays. There will be two volunteers signed up for each day. The School Store is a great way to see your student(s) in action and support the school.
