Stock the Pantry

Please join us in thanking our amazing teachers and staff by contributing to our "Stock the Pantry" event! We are stocking the teachers' lounge with treats and snacks in preparation for their busy week of fall conferences. Click on the Amazon wishlist to quickly and easily send a package of goodies that will be dropped off to the staff for the start of conferences.

Please plan to order in time for items to be received by Becky Ormsbee on or before 11/19. Becky will ensure the items get to the teachers’ lounge on 11/20 in time for the start of conferences. Make sure to select "Rebecca Ormsbee's Gift Registry Address" for the shipping address at checkout. Thanks!

TEMS is participating in a Holiday Drive to collect cleaning supplies to support families in our community through T&E Care organization.

The holiday season can be especially difficult, so this year TEMS is helping to create a bag of cleaning supplies for families in our community that are struggling.  Cleaning supplies can be expensive, so by donating to this cause those families can use that money towards other important things like rent, food, or even gifts for their families.

There is a sign-up/checklist sheet in each homeroom to help coordinate this effort. Donations are optional and are being accepted through November 17.  Email with further details was sent out last week.

Thank you for helping to support our community.

Winter Sports

Winter Sports PIAA paperwork is now available on PowerSchool Parent Portal.

Instructions for completing the forms are available here: Athletics / Participation paperwork and injury information (tesd.net). Boys basketball tryouts will take place November 14, 15, and 16 and girls basketball tryouts are on November 28, 29, and 30. Wrestling practice will begin November 28. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Sarvas at sarvasm@tesd.net or 610-240-1204.

Please remind your students to check schoology and listen for announcements regarding winter sports!

TEMS Fall Drama- Fowl Play

This Friday Nov 10th is TEMS fall drama, Fowl Play, written by a current TEMS student.

Traffic Update

The following closures are scheduled in Easttown and Tredyffrin Townships

  • Thursday, November 2, through Thursday, November 30, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Conestoga Road will be closed and detoured weekdays between Devon State Road and Margo Lane. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Devon State Road/Valley Forge Road, Route 252 (Swedesford Road), Cassatt Road, and Conestoga Road.
TEMS School Store

The School Store is managed and operated by parent volunteers. Students are welcome to shop during lunch hour on Tuesdays and Thursdays. All school supplies are sold at the store including spirit wear (as available) and other fun items.

We are looking for volunteers to help with the school store. Volunteering at the school store is a great opportunity to see middle school kids in action and help the PTO. Background clearance is needed for volunteering for the school store. Here is a link on details regarding clearance (Volunteer Background Clearance).

If you have background clearance please sign up using the link below.

Stock up on bake-at-home pizza kits, soft pretzel nuggets, cookie dough, and much more! Place your order now through Monday, November 20th. Your order will be available for pickup at school the afternoon of Tuesday, December 12th - just in time for holiday entertaining!

View the catalog here: https://www.flipsnack.com/smartfr/joecorbi_2023-u82cbo25s4/full-view.html

Catalogs have also been sent home with your child with the option of sending in your written order and a check back to their homeroom teacher.

Each of us can make a difference by reducing, reusing, and recycling materials throughout our communities and encouraging our neighbors (and our kids) to do the same.

TEMS Recycling Program

Recycling drop-off will be available at TEMS all year!  Bins are located in the main lobby upon entry to the school. We will continue to collect writing instruments (no wooden pencils or crayons please), clean plastic bags, printer cartridges and dental products (toothpaste tubes, toothbrushes, empty floss rolls) in the bins in the front lobby.  Click on this link for more details.

Brought to you by the TESD Green Team. To learn more or get involved, please contact: Tracy at tracyteeselink@aol.com, Val at valcheng@gmail.com or Gaby at gabysnyder@yahoo.com

Sneakers Recycling

Along with the recycling bins that the PTO provides, we also have a Conestoga HS group that collects used sneakers. Bins for new, used and gently used sneakers are available in the TEMS lobby.
